Arbita, a leader in recruitment marketing and sourcing solutions, today announced a global strategic partnership with Job Rooster, a San-Francisco social enterprise that connects enterprises and staffing agencies to the worldwide workforce through cutting-edge mobile recruitment services.

The partnership is the first to empower enterprise employers to target and interact with active job seekers as well as passive candidates directly via the person's mobile phone.

"The partnership is a very strong statement about the influence and expertise of Arbita in the world of recruitment marketing technology," said Don Ramer, CEO and founder of Arbita. "Our alliance with Job Rooster enhances Arbita's position at the vanguard of the technological revolution that is transforming the way recruiters work, organizations allocate their resources and candidates search for and find jobs."

Job Rooster's platform streamlines staffing for enterprise employers by allowing them to automate and optimize routine operations on mobile phones.

"This partnership marks a critical step in our long-term plan to bring online employment information to workers everywhere on their mobile phones," said Nick Ellis, founder of Job Rooster. "More importantly, this partnership will help put people back to work today by bringing the best-of-breed technologies to bear on the global problem of unemployment."

The partnership with Arbita brings unique capabilities to enterprise employers and staffing agencies worldwide by integrating with their existing applicant tracking systems, Ellis said.

"This latest expansion out of Arbita's core capabilities results from newly advanced tools that leverage the world of mobile communications," Ramer said. "It will change the face of recruiting."

Ramer and Ellis said the partnership between their companies and technology:

  •     Gives enterprise employers the ability to distribute jobs directly to active job seekers and potential candidates (passive candidates) on their mobile phones
  •     Allows active candidates as well as passive candidates to "apply on the spot" through their mobile phones using SMS text messages
  •     Allows millions of potential candidates to prequalify simultaneously for any position
  •     Enables employers and recruiters to schedule workers for jobs directly from the mobile phones, without relying on a computer or email

"Job Rooster's vision is to connect every worker to the global marketplace of opportunity through affordable, accessible text messaging services, to empower the World Wide Workforce," Ellis said. "Our new partnership with Arbita brings us closer to meeting our vision."
