To honor and thank U.S. veterans for their service this Memorial Day, MaidPro—ranked among Entrepreneur’s Top 100 Low Cost Franchises for 2011—announced that its franchise discount package for U.S. veterans can be applied to its Select Franchise Model, resulting in MaidPro’s lowest cost opportunity available for veterans to date.

Introduced earlier this year, the Select Franchise Model makes it easier to start a MaidPro business by reducing up-front investment and cash requirements, and helping new MaidPro businesses get on a path to rapid customer acquisition and long-term growth. Combining the MaidPro Select Franchise Model with MaidPro’s veteran’s discount package—valued at $15,000—makes the dream of owning and operating a small business more accessible than ever to former service men and women. The veteran’s discount package includes:

  • A $3,000 discount off the initial franchise fee
  • A $100 franchise fee credit each month for the life of the ten-year agreement
  • Direct financing or financing assistance to enable U.S. veterans to start their own MaidPro businesses with virtually zero cash up front

MaidPro first announced its special discount package on Veteran’s Day 2009. In 2010, some 20% of all new MaidPro offices were opened by U.S. veterans.

“We have learned through our veteran’s discount program that people with military training and service are uniquely qualified to serve as business owners and leaders in our communities,” remarks MaidPro CEO Mark Kushinsky. “Our veteran franchise owners are disciplined, confident, and compassionate leaders of people. We are delighted to be doing our part to serve those who have served us so well and very much hope to see new veterans take advantage of this opportunity.”
