Rocket21 to Be Offered to Low-Income Students Through Horizons National

Rocket21, (the new social network where kids explore amazing possibilities for their lives and futures) is introducing its platform to low-income students in Horizons programs nationwide. Through a partnership with Horizons National, a non-profit organization providing underserved children access to high quality academics in engaging summer programs, Rocket21 will offer middle-school aged students the opportunity to explore various interests and career paths by connecting with professionals working in those fields.

Among the many issues inspiring us to create Rocket21 was our deep desire for children to get the tools and support they need to make their dreams come true, said Mark Grayson, CEO, Rocket21.

Rocket21, (the new social network where kids explore amazing possibilities for their lives and futures) is introducing its platform to low-income students in Horizons programs nationwide. Through a partnership with Horizons National, a non-profit organization providing underserved children access to high quality academics in engaging summer programs, Rocket21 will offer middle-school aged students the opportunity to explore various interests and career paths by connecting with professionals working in those fields. Students who participate in this new social network will have unlimited opportunities to connect with professionals as well as other students from across the country while on Rocket21’s secure and monitored site.

Two members of the Horizons National team will represent Horizon as Rocket21 PROs. They’ll share stories, photos, and their expertise with R21 members who are curious about their summer program or who are thinking about a career in the non-profit sector.
