Local Child Safety & Protection Event sponsored by New York Life Insurance Company Agent Sam Paisley to be held during Oswego's “Movies in the Park”

All children who attend will receive a complimentary Identification Card, complete with photograph and fingerprints.

WHAT:    New York Life Insurance Company will host a free Child Safety and Protection Event during Oswego’s “Movies in the Park,” offering fun activities to parents and children while teaching important lessons about how to stay safe at home, at play and in the community.

“Movies in the Park” are held at the Village Green Park in downtown Oswego immediately behind Oswego Community Bank at 8:00 p.m. during the summer season. Please consult the village web calendar for exact dates at http://nt1.oswegoil.org/calendar/ . Mr. Paisley will be available from 6:30 p.m. until dusk.

The event, sponsored by Sam Paisley of the Greater Chicago General Office of New York Life Insurance Company, is free and open to the public.

WHY:    Child safety is one of the primary concerns of parents today. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), as many as 800,000 children are reported missing every year-that’s more than 2000 children every day. Child ID is an important step parents can take to help protect their children.
