San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2011
Online game data mining and monetization company GamesAnalytics (GA) today announced a number of new client wins - UK broadcaster Channel 4, digital agency Realise and French video games cluster Capital Games.
GA has been retained by award winning international digital agency Realise as the analytics partner for ‘Beauty Town’, a new Channel 4 funded Facebook game that aims to promote positive messages about female body image. The game is being developed for Channel 4 by Dundee based Dynamo Games and is due for launch in June 2011. Channel 4 is one of the UK's most popular nationally broadcast television stations.
Ian MacKenzie, Media Project Manager at Channel 4, stated, “GamesAnalytics’ knowledge and insight is invaluable for any games company looking to succeed in the online digital space, and we hope that Beauty Town can reap the rewards of the involvement as the game mechanic develops.”
Rob McLeod, Head of Planning at Realise, stated, “The key to the success of our work at Realise to promote and support the launch of Beauty Town is in understanding the target audience - and ensuring that the creative and messaging strikes a chord. GamesAnalytics is the perfect partner for this, and its input has been complementary to our wider market and cultural understanding when delivering a rounded, accurate consumer insight. Beyond audience outreach, these efforts will also serve future development of the game.”
GA also announced it has been appointed by French video games business cluster Capital Games to help develop a ‘Virtual World’s Laboratory’ – a project designed to help independent French game developers secure the tools and knowhow to further understand the virtual economy, predict user behavior and improve profitability.
Lisa Hesse-Dréville CEO at Capital Games, stated, “Capital Games is committed to helping our members access the best possible business advice to enable them to prosper and grow. GamesAnalytics expertise in data mining and the monetization of online games through analytics is very convincing. We look forward to sharing this knowledge with our members.”
Chris Wright, CEO at GamesAnalytics, stated, “We are thrilled to be working with such high caliber clients. GamesAnalytics is committed to helping our clients maximize player satisfaction, increase revenue and improve virality through data driven insight. We look forward to announcing more new clients in the coming months.”
