Speaking to the likes of Example, DJ Marky, DJ Yasmin, Boyz Noize, Stanton Warriors, The Wombats and Architecture in Helsinki, WinkBall captured the essence of what Lovebox and Global Gathering is all about and what makes them such a hit on the festival circuit.
Example, who is playing the Lovebox Festival on Friday [date], had this to say about the weekend long festival held at Victoria Park:
“I went to Lovebox last year to watch Chase and Status and Dizzee (Rascal), and there’s something nice about Victoria Park, it’s a lovely atmosphere there and the crowd seem really up for it. Lovebox is a completely different crowd to what you’d find at Wireless or V or Glastonbury”.
DJ Yasmin, who is set to play the Global Gathering festival, said she “Can’t wait” to play the festival adding, “It’s a wicked festival with an insane line-up”. Berlin-based DJ act Boyz Noize, an artist who has already played Global Gathering, described his experience of the festival as “amazing” and was looking forward to playing again this summer.
