On June 29, 2011 The Center for Economic Growth (CEG) will recognize Autotask Corporation as the ECONOMIC WINNER at the organization’s 15th Annual Technology Awards Luncheon, which will take place at the Crowne Plaza in Albany. The event attracts more than 300 business leaders and professionals from the “Tech Valley” region of Upstate New York.

In winning the award, Autotask Corporation was recognized by the CEG for exhibiting “substantial and sustained growth in sales and profitability, contributing to the overall regional economy and employment.” In addition to the Economic Winner, other awards to be presented during the event include: Promising New Start-Up, Technology in Production, Technology Entrepreneur, Technology Mentor, and Leaders of Tomorrow.

The awards ceremony will feature a keynote speech by Jon Gordon, speaker, consultant and author of the international best sellers The Energy Bus, The No Complaining Rule, Training Camp, The Shark and The Goldfish and his newest book Soup: A Recipe to Nourish your Team and Culture. The event will be emceed by former CBS6 Anchor and Business Editor, Jack Aernecke.

Mark Cattini, President and CEO of Autotask Corporation, will be on hand to accept the award on behalf of Autotask Corporation. “We are honored to receive this recognition by the region’s top economic development organization,” said Cattini. “Autotask was founded right here in the Capital Region, and we’re delighted that we can contribute so meaningfully to the local economy less than a decade later. Autotask currently employs nearly 200 people worldwide, with more than half living and working locally.”
