Web TimeSheet gives Metro IT Resources a single web-based system to track project status and make smart business decisions.

Metro IT Resources, one of the most respected providers in the IT staffing and project solutions industry, has implemented a web-based software suite to streamline several of its key business functions.

The firm has partnered with Replicon, the market leader in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based time and expense software, to improve its company-wide processes for tracking employee time, productivity, attendance, and business expenses. Metro IT Resources uses both editions of Replicon‘s Web TimeSheet software— Project & Billing and Time & Attendance—plus Replicon Web Expense. All are seamlessly integrated for monitoring employee time and business costs in real-time.

The two systems could not be merged, and neither was accessible off-site. This created a highly inefficient process for tracking Metro consultants’ time on projects, as well as associated costs.

Now, employees in Metro IT's entire organization enter their time from anywhere. Managers schedule staff and compare actual vs. budgeted costs. With Web Expense, employees can also enter business expenses and track costs, in multiple currencies as required.

Real-time visibility of employee time and costs makes it easy for Metro IT to optimize operations, increase productivity and revenue. The firm easily generates reports, directly within the system, to monitor progress and identify additional project needs.
