Oro is the flagship wine of Gauchezco Vineyard and Winery. Vines on the Gauchezco property located in the Mendoza Primera Zona of Barranacas~Maipu date back to 1881.
Malbec grown in this venerable region produces deep colored wines with rich and complex fruit flavors. Fruit is also sourced from the new "it" region for Argentine Malbec~Tupungato. A higher elevation here adds structure, aromatics and acidity to Maipu's fruity richness.
This 100% Malbec has a sumptuous sip of cassis and cherry fruit followed by layers of dulce de leche, coffee, and chocolate wafting over your palate in wave upon intriguing wave.
