Emerging from Beta after nearly a year of public development, BestNewBands.com has officially launched. Anchored by staff writers in Los Angeles and New York City and regular contributors from around the country, this unique music discovery site combines elements of traditional music journalism and the resources of the web to find the best new talent as it breaks through.
BestNewBands.com spotlights new artists with daily show and album reviews, interviews, previews, and special weekly features including Mondays’ Concert Picks, Wednesdays’ exclusive videos from monthly Artists in Residence, and Fridays’ Weekend Playlists. Ongoing Festivals coverage includes previews and coverage of festivals around the world, from Coachella to Glastonbury and beyond.
Says Tom Crosthwaite, Founder and Publisher of BestNewBands.com: “Our sole purpose is to find the best new artists from any genre. We cover the finest clubs and festivals in the U.S. and around the world. We want to be the site people go to find great new music.”
With the official launch, the site is working to expand coverage by actively recruiting contributors to review shows, interview bands and shoot video in markets around the world. Applications are currently being accepted by Crosthwaite and Managing Editor Leona Laurie via editor(at)bestnewbands(dot)com.
