One of the cornerstones of DiSTI is to provide our customers with the best quality tools to launch and sustain their innovative solutions.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) June 01, 2011
The DiSTI Corporation, a leading provider of advanced graphical interface technology, announces the use of GL Studio in the creation of CNR-Skins, the newest addition to Calytrix Technologies' Comm Net Radio (CNR) family of radio simulation products.
DiSTI’s GL Studio, an award-winning software toolkit used to create 2D and 3D graphical user interfaces, empowered the developers at Calytrix to rapidly generate interactive faceplates for the new CNR-Skins product. GL Studio enables the complete replication of the behavior and functionality of each radio component in a rapid graphical development environment that maintains photo-realism.
CNR-Skins is a set of highly realistic, interactive, graphical faceplates of military radios, coupled to Calytrix’s Comm Net Radio Simulator (CNR-Sim). This combination of CNR-Sim for radio communications and CNR-Skins for realistic radio controls and displays provides the highest level of radio simulation for training.
“One of the cornerstones of DiSTI is to provide our customers with the best quality tools to launch and sustain their innovative solutions. This development of CNR-Skins by Calytrix facilitates the next generation of radio training realism for every facet of the simulation and training community,” said Joe Swinski, CEO of DiSTI.
“Calytrix’s Comm Net Radio family of products has been growing rapidly in number of products and worldwide usage,” said Shawn Parr, CEO of Calytrix Technologies. “CNR-Skins gives CNR-Sim radio simulator users a new level of user interface, with realistic radio faceplates and operational controls and displays.”
DiSTI is a global leader in the development of Human Machine Interface software for businesses, governments and the military. The company’s flagship product, GL Studio, enables programmers and developers to build high‐fidelity graphics, 3D simulations and fully interactive controls into their models, enhancing the level of realism and sophistication, while improving learning and retention.
