We understand that household budgets are tight enough without worrying about your insurance costs going up. With these extra financial protections, customers can enjoy peace of mind, with insurance being one less thing to worry about.

iMingle™ has introduced Protect Your Wallet™, a new auto insurance bundle that offers protection for policyholders from rising insurance costs by locking in rates, forgiving accidents, guaranteeing renewals and reducing deductibles. The new product bundle is the latest move from the innovative direct-to-consumer insurer that helps policyholders save up to 50 percent or more on car insurance.

“Protect Your Wallet is our way of telling drivers that we have their backs,” said Michael Z. Stahl, iMingle’s vice president of marketing and operations. “We understand that household budgets are tight enough without worrying about your insurance costs going up. With these extra financial protections, customers can enjoy peace of mind, with insurance being one less thing to worry about.”

iMingle’s Protect Your Wallet bundle includes:

  • Price Lock™ – In a unique move in the industry, iMingle permanently locks in premiums and discounts to protect policyholders from rate changes, barring any major incidents or changes to their policies.
  • Accident Forgiveness – iMingle will take into account the customer’s safe driving record and does not raise rates after an accident, even if the customer is at fault.
  • Renewal Assurance™ – iMingle rewards customers for playing by the rules with a promise to renew their policies barring any major incidents.
  • Disappearing Deductible – iMingle takes $100 off the customer’s collision deductible now and lowers it another $100 each year that the driver is accident-free.

Launched in 2010, iMingle is a new marketing approach for direct-to-consumer insurance aimed at what the company calls the i Generation, those consumers who expect technology and service to work together to make life easier. iMingle is also the first in the industry to offer group buying for individual policyholders, allowing customers to combine (or “mingle”) their policies with those of their friends via social networking in order to qualify for the iMingle Network™ Discount of 10 percent on top of other savings.

Auto insurance from iMingle is currently available in 13 states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Wisconsin, Virginia, South Carolina and Iowa. Select states also offer homeowners, renters and condo insurance. Price Lock is not available in Illinois. In its place, iMingle offers Ticket Forgiveness, protecting policyholders from rate increases after a minor ticket.
