Amazon has rewritten the rules of e-commerce, and retailers can benefit from understanding the ins-and-outs of the company’s business and how to best partner with Amazon without giving away too much competitive information.

ChannelAdvisor, a global e-commerce platform provider that enables retailers to sell more across online channels, announced today that it will exhibit and present at this year’s Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition taking place June 14-17, 2011 at the convention center in San Diego, Calif. ChannelAdvisor will exhibit at booth number 317, and CEO Scot Wingo will present a session with Colin Sebastian, equity research analyst for RW Baird, on June 15 at 11:45 a.m. PT.

Wingo and Sebastian will jointly present a session titled: "How does Amazon do it? An in-depth look at e-retailing's pacesetter." In addition to sharing what others can learn from Amazon's success, the duo will analyze all aspects of Amazon's operations, such as:

  • Where Amazon invests in technology and how much
  • Why its marketplace has been so successful
  • The marketplace’s financial management practices
  • Best practices for retailers when partnering with Amazon
