About the Author
Anna D’Alessio Johnson was born in Italy, lived in Canada, and is now married and living in the United States of America. She is the author of A Place Within, available at; and has a song out, “You Really Don’t Know,” from her CD Country at Heart at

From 1985 up to the present day, she has received numerous awards: Outstanding Poet of the Year, Editor’s Choice Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry, Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Poet, Bronze Commemorative Awards Medallion, Poet of the Year Medallion, Trophy of Excellence, and several Honorable Mentions.

She is a member of International Society of Poets, Famous Poets, Detroit Institute of Arts and Wayne State University Alumni. Her name is on the Wall of Tolerance. The author has received a certificate in her Reiki class, a diploma in Interior Design and Decorating, Flower Arranging and Floristry and several awards for Good Samaritan of the year and a Donor of the year. Anna Johnson is also listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who of American Women. She also has a myriad of poetry on cassette with the Sound of Poetry and she has her work displayed on multiple anthologies.
