Biblical Principles for Parenting

Biblical Principles for Parenting

The Bible provides all the necessary instructions for raising children.

In his newly released book, Pastor Larry Youngblood discusses how although many will say that children come without a set of instructions he believes differently. His book Biblical Principles for Parenting: How God Trained My Wife and Me to Raise Our Children ($14.99, paperback, 9781613792353), explains that the Bible provides all the necessary instructions for successfully raising children! He discusses how before parents can begin to train their children, they must apply the Bible to their own lives. Youngblood describes his theory that children pay more attention to actions than words and, because of this, parents must live as authentic examples of the trained Christian by emulating Christ-like character traits and behaviors.

Even if readers have not always followed God’s plan for child rearing, Biblical Principles for Parenting portrays the message that God is a God of grace and that it’s never too late to start all over again. By being transparent about his own family’s personal struggles, and providing sound advice, the author hopes that his book will help families.

Pastor Larry Youngblood has studied Scripture for over 40 years, and benefited from the teachings of other pastors, teachers and evangelists. He graduated from Gwinnett Hall Baptist College in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where he is a Biblical Studies Guest Professor. Youngblood has pastored for over 34 years at Calvary Baptist Church in Auburn/Carl, Georgia.
