In support of the game of tennis, 10sPortal.com offers a cash prize tournament for Pro and Leveled players in Austin, TX.

10sPortal.com today announces the tennis social networking site will host the 2011 10sPortal.com Open Tennis Tournament in Austin, TX, June 24-26, 2011.

The 10sPortal.com Open – sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) – will include events for Men’s and Women’s Pro Singles and Doubles, as well as Men’s and Women’s Leveled Singles and Doubles 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5. Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 11:59pm Central Standard Time CST.

The entry fees per player are $54.25 for Pro Singles and $43.50 for Pro Doubles. The Leveled event entry fee is $43.50 for Singles and $33 for Doubles. All competitors are limited to entering two events, one Singles and one Doubles event. Matches will take place at the Polo Tennis Club and the Austin Tennis Center (ATC).

Each division winner will receive a cash prize, and the runner-up will receive a consolation prize. Tournament competitors who join 10sPortal.com’s tennis social network will receive a 10 percent cash rebate off their entrance fee for the tournament. Tournament competitors who have already registered on 10sPortal.com are not eligible for the rebate.

“Our company’s mission is to promote the game of tennis, and we hope to accomplish that through tournaments like this one,” said 10sPortal.com chief executive officer Alberto Genty.
