New York, NY (PRWEB) June 06, 2011
PointRoll, a Gannett Company (NYSE: GCI) and the leading provider of digital marketing, today announced three new appointments to its leadership team. Online advertising veteran Matthew Flanagan has signed on as the company’s vice president of business development and publisher channels, Adam Carroll also joined as the new director of business development, and Kailei Richardson was promoted to director of marketing.
Over the past decade, Flanagan has worked at companies such as DoubleClick, Google, and BuddyMedia, where he created go-to-market strategies for publishers, studios, music labels, broadcast networks and sports leagues including MTV Networks, NBC Universal, MLS, NFL, Sony Music Entertainment, Hearst, Condé Nast, and Discovery Networks. In addition to this experience, Flanagan is well versed in social media marketing, new media models and real-time bidding (RTB) - all of which are currently offered to PointRoll’s clients.
Carroll’s vast experience in digital media includes his most recent role at Red Bricks Media in New York where he oversaw the East Coast paid media practice. While there, Carroll established a Demand Side Platform trading desk that expanded the agency’s online media display capabilities and drove a 250 percent increase in revenue for the practice. Prior to RBM, Carroll led online marketing efforts at Citibank Australia as online marketing manager.
After nearly two years with PointRoll and its retail division ShopLocal, Richardson was promoted from her previous roles as senior manager of marketing and strategy at PointRoll and before that, senior manager of sales strategy and development and product marketing at Ripple6. Additionally, Richardson serves as the company’s social media subject matter expert, writing for several blogs and online publications about how brands can effectively use social media to connect with their audiences. Previously, she held marketing and digital strategy roles for Belo Interactive Media (BIM). As the mobile product manager at BIM, Richardson led and defined the mobile strategy for more than 20 media properties around the country.
“At PointRoll we pride ourselves on delivering killer creative dynamic ads across platforms, but executing this strategy takes more than just solid technology—it requires an experienced and committed business development and marketing team to make it happen,” said Rob Gatto, CEO at PointRoll. “The digital marketing experience Adam, Matthew and Kailei bring will help PointRoll grow even more rapidly and help make our single point of integration advertising solution stand above those of competitors.”
