Dr. Purita, who runs The Institute of Regenerative and Molecular Orthopedics in Boca Raton, has practiced at the Boca Raton Orthopaedic Group since 1981. He has spent decades pioneering the research and technology of using stem cells and platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP) as a complement or alternative to surgery.

Dr. Purita, a graduate of Georgetown University Medical School, has used his treatment methods for muscle injuries, as well as ligament, tendinitis and arthritic ailments. Perhaps most notably, his scientific advancements have helped treat professional athletes for teams across the country, including the NFL's Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins and Major League Baseball's Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers, among many others.
As a member of the InHealth Media Board of Directors, Dr. Purita will utilize his expertise in sports medicine and anti-aging medicine. In fact, he is known around the world for his knowledge of both anti-aging medicine and nutritional supplements.
