Demonstrating its strong support for veterans in their search for employment after serving our country, Corporate Resource Services, Inc. (CRS) was the only employment services agency invited to participate in the Be a Hero, Hire a Hero Veterans Career Expo held on May 24, 2011 at the New Yorker Hotel. “We understand the unique challenges that face our returning veterans,” said spokesman Robert Cassera. “We have a wide network of employers who rely on CRS for their placement needs. They trust our experience, professionalism and expertise when seeking the right employees to fill their company’s requirements, and we know there is no one more dedicated, hard-working or dependable than our former military personnel,” Robert Cassera continued.

The 2011 Veterans Career Expo was held in partnership with The New York Times, Veterans Across America, RecruitMilitary and the New York City Business Leadership Network (NYCBLN). This historic Veterans' Career Expo also ran virtually online simultaneously and continued for two weeks spanning military bases around the globe.

Hundreds of veterans attended the event and the CRS booth, making the event a huge success. CRS understands that serving in the military gives veterans valuable life experiences that can effectively be transitioned to the needs of private sector companies. “We also understand that different veterans have different needs, which is why we can help to steer their career in the right direction,” Robert Cassera continued. CRS is positioned to find many types of employment to suit the specific needs of the veteran looking to find work as a civilian. CRS’s placement professionals help veterans to find the type of employment that is the best fit for them, whether full-time, contract or temporary work.
