Step aside, Willy Wonka. We’ve got something much better than candy. Be one of five people in Chicago to find a Golden Delicious Ticket, redeemable for an iPad 2, courtesy of AppleSliced.com. Starting June 8, the hunt will be on.
Five Golden Delicious Tickets will be scattered across the city, and one at a time, clues will be released on AppleSliced.com, Twitter and Facebook to the ticket’s location. Get the ticket, get the iPad.
A maximum of 15 clues will be released to reveal the location of each Golden Delicious Ticket. Tickets can be hidden in any public space – outdoors, indoors, underground, maybe even right out in the open – within the city of Chicago.
"Every day people search AppleSliced.com for the lowest prices on Apple products," says Matt Kraft, founder of AppleSliced.com. "Now the search turns to Chicago as people take to the streets for the iPad hunt.”
Participants must be 13 years or older. No purchase required. Apple is not a participant in or sponsor of this promotion. For more information, visit AppleSliced.com.
About Apple Sliced:
Apple Sliced (http://applesliced.com) was created as a solution to the countless queries from friends and family members about where to find the lowest prices on Apple products. It used to be that Apple products, the best on the market, were also the most expensive. But with Apple Sliced, the high price tag is a thing of the past. From Macs to iPods, Apple Sliced takes the Apple Store out of the buying equation. What it adds is a network of trusted merchants competing to bring consumers the best price on the market. That can mean savings in the hundreds of dollars.
