Street Toyota loves to take part in community activities. However, an event that creates as much of an impact like this one is great to be apart of.
Amarillo, TX (PRWEB) June 07, 2011
Street Toyota will be sponsoring 24 Hours in the Canyon June 4-5 of 2011. The event will be hosted in Palo Duro Canyon and will consist of bikers raising money for the fight against cancer. The races will begin at noon on Saturday and will run through Sunday where the awards ceremony will be held at 12:30 in the afternoon.
The money fundraised will be donated to the Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center and the Live Strong Lance Armstrong Foundation. Last year approximately $100,000 was raised and exactly 100% of the proceeds benefitted the fight for cancer.
Street Toyota cannot be more excited to sponsor an event like this. David Walker, Street Toyota employee and active community member, has helped organize Street Toyota’s sponsorship.
“Street Toyota loves to take part in community activities. However, an event that creates as much of an impact like this one is great to be apart of,” said Walker.
