The book’s storyline centers on the fictitious Baker Bernard and his quest to win the king’s annual baking competition. Despite being known as the kingdom’s best baker for years, Bernard soon meets unexpected challenges on his journey to retain his title. His story is similar to those of business leaders in today’s world who fail to recognize the ending of one endeavor and the beginning of a new opportunity.

Both of the book’s authors are well-versed in the power of new ideas in the business world. Dr. Davidovich is an assistant professor at the School of Leadership at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wis. He is also the founder of Leading for Innovation Associates, LLC, a company that studies and promotes transformational change, innovation, systems thinking and organizational development.

Dr. Koehn is a former school administrator and currently serves as a consultant and facilitator of strategic planning for innovative leadership, total quality management and conflict resolution for private and public organizations.
