American Automated Payroll (AAP) has partnered with to provide clients with a more configurable time and attendance application. The application will enable AAP and its clients to reduce the time associated with collecting and processing payroll data. (, a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Workforce Management Applications with a major push in HR, Payroll, and Time and Labor Management, has recently partnered with American Automated Payroll (AAP), a payroll service bureau headquartered in South Carolina with a national client list that spans 44 states. AAP partnered with in order to provide its clients a web-based time and labor management application that was highly configurable and had a proven record of uptime.

“We were attracted to the look and feel of’s application, as well as the smoothness with which it ran,” said Donna Bond, Customer Support Manager of American Automated Payroll. “The ease of use and layout of the software makes it extremely user-friendly, plus there’s almost no recorded downtime, which in addition to customer service, was a big issue for us with our last provider.”

With the provision of exceptional customer service high on AAP’s list of priorities, having a strong second-tier support system has helped customers quickly adjust to the software. “We pride ourselves on our customer service; there’s no waiting on-hold or picking a number, if the first person you speak with can’t answer your question, it typically only takes one more person to answer it,” reported Bond. “We needed a time keeping solution that was backed by great customer support, and in dealing with, everyone is very quick to respond, seems happy to help, and the information we’re provided with is easy to understand and accurate.”

The time and labor management application reduces the amount of time associated with collecting and processing payroll data through the use of several features. “The notifications aspect of the application is a big plus for a lot of clients,” explained Bond. “For example, if I submit a paid time off (PTO) request to my supervisor, the application will send that person an email, making them aware of the request, and then they can go in and approve or reject it. Making educated decisions on whether to approve someone’s time off or not are much easier to determine with this application.”

The Time Collection Overview feature within’s application provides a summary of current and previous pay periods, regularly identifies missing punches, overtime hours, etc. “We were overly pleased with the various reports available to us along with the capabilities associated with PTO tracking,” stated Bond. “The settings for the time off calendar are very popular with management because they allow effortless visibility of who may already have time off, or has requested off on a given day.”

While currently only marketing the time and labor management application alongside their payroll offering, AAP has high hopes for the application in the future. “Our sales team finds it incredibly easy to demo and the clients they have on it love it,” concluded Bond. “It’s actually shocking how many people are still tracking time on paper. This application is going to improve a lot of business processes for these customers.”
