California’s people have begun taking new steps toward that ever promising future of renewable energy and a cleaner environment. West of the Salinas Valley, and East of Los Angeles, you’ll find massive windmills generating enough electricity to run the entire state…if we learn to use it properly. Some of the top organizations in the country are aiming to bring balance to humanity and the planet. Groups like Plug in America.org which supports the Tesla energy efficient vehicle, the strong symbol of Energystar, the courageous international works of the Dancing Star Foundation, and the educational voice of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) are forward thinking organizations, and each of them has found friends among the most influential people in the country--Celebrities.

Understanding that the messages from these organizations need to be heard, Producer Bob Bekian and Loyal Studios of Los Angeles has donated his Burbank and Santa Monica studios, HD camera Equipment, and crews on repeat occasions to support those that give their time and effort into helping the planet. Hollywood’s involvement in spreading the word is an integral key to opening minds and educating people on what steps they can take.

“California has always been a trend setting and innovative state, and we have the unique combination of world- class broadcast facilities as well as some of the most notable talent to help get the message out and make real changes in the way we approach our environmental challenges,” notes Bob Bekian, CEO of Loyal Studios

Actor Don Cheadle and the beautiful Gisele Bundchen became ambassadors for the UNEP in 2011 and accepted Bob Bekian’s offer to use the Santa Monica stage to alert the world on ways Humanity can live and sustain the precious, yet shrinking ecosystems of the planet. John Corbett, most recognizable from his role in “Northern Exposure” worked with the Department of Energy (DOE) to educate people on the levels of the Energystar grading system. He even urged businesses to battle one another to see who could get the lowest power bill in a months’ time. The Tesla electric vehicle brought Pluginamerica.org into the homes of millions with their PSA on the accelerating advances of cars that utilize the current in your own home to recharge. Michael Tobias, head of “Dancing Star Foundation” traveled the globe capturing footage of places most people only see in magazines. Dancing Star and Loyal Studios collaborated on a 90 minute three-part special entitled, The State of the Earth, focusing on the goal of “helping Humankind protect the natural world.”

Loyal Studios has not only offered its facilities to these organizations to produce the programming, but has taken measures to keep themselves Green; such as using energy efficient studio lighting in the stages, installing Energystar compliant appliances in the kitchens, and establishing a clear in-house recycling program easy for both crew and clients to take part in.

The broadest message that links each of these projects couldn’t be more simple or easy to follow: Even the most minuscule act can create the most noticeable difference. “We want to do our part to help bring awareness to ways people can improve and protect our environment” Bekian added. Loyal Studios and Bekian plan on several other environmental messages in his studios that will include Brad Pitt, Kobe Bryant and Angelina Jolie in 2011
