SIPA UK's 17th annual conference is shaping up to be the best yet. Keynote speakers include David Gilbertson, former CEO of Emap, with a detailed overview of how media is shifting – the change in the publishing landscape and how we need to redefine media propositions. Plus Jane Wilkinson, president of Institutional Investor, on the changing role of marketers – and Dan Brown, principal at Xponential Publishing Consultants in Washington DC, on content generation.

Delegates will hear how to integrate social media with their editorial, get their marketers and editors working together, monetise web traffic, and decide on free or paid content. They’ll nail down the most effective use of social media, apps and tools. They’ll learn how to maximise email lead generation, and get their journalists and editors up to scratch with the latest digital publishing skills.
The day provides a mix of keynote presentations, breakout sessions – with a choice of editorial, marketing or publishing issues – and interactive round tables, where everyone can ask questions and share their experience. There are 18 topics to choose from, from apps, SEO, email marketing, and integrating independent systems to monetising communities, NPD, site licences and social media.
There will also be an exhibition of products and services from the conference sponsors, including Cheers Interactive, Premier Print Group, Adestra and Velo// Marketing.
