Users of Rapid Insight Products Meet to Share Best Practices in Business Intelligence and Predictive Analytics

Rapid Insight Inc., a leading provider of predictive analytic and business intelligence software, hosted its annual 2011 User Conference on June 2-3. Customers arrived in record numbers to attend this year’s conference, representing industries ranging from higher education, healthcare, and biotechnology.

Customers attended interactive sessions that provided them with opportunities to share industry best practices and learn how fellow users are optimizing their use of business intelligence and predictive analytics. Nearly all of the sessions were led by customers, allowing attendees to hear directly from their peers. Some of the topics covered in these customer-led sessions included solving data challenges in healthcare, predictive modeling in higher education, and ad hoc reporting from disparate data.

Speaking at this year’s conference were customers from Amgen, NH Department of Health and Human Services, Brown University, MIT, Dickinson College, Fairfield University, University of New Haven, Paul Smith’s College, and Plymouth State University. The User Conference was hosted at the Conway campus of Granite State College, situated in the Mount Washington Valley’s Technology Village. The location offered participants the opportunity to attend sessions amid the beautiful backdrop of the historic White Mountains.

Attendees were also given a sneak peek at upcoming developments in the software and were encouraged to provide their input into the future direction of Rapid Insight products. With a 50% increase in attendance, Rapid Insight clients are already looking forward to the 2012 Conference.
