Since 1947, Jewel Craft has provided repair, trade work, restoration, stone setting, appraisals, and custom jewelry design to retail jewelers nationwide.

Jewel-Craft occupies a 30,000 square foot shop equipped with full-service production capabilities, laser welding and casting equipment, and an extensive colored stone inventory. The family-owned company employs 125 jewelers and services more than 3,000 retail jewelry stores nationwide.

To help retail jewelers meet the growing demand for repair services, Jewel-Craft provides professional repair and restoration services, including ring sizing, mountings, stone replacement, work with prongs, jewelry cleaning and polishing, necklace repair, pearl restringing, bracelet repair, clasp replacement, complete refurbishments, and custom jewelry design. Customers are able to track every stage of the jewelry repair process in real time using an online tracking system.

"We have the equipment and experience to do things that most shops can't or won't do. With so many jewelers working together, we are able to combine our areas of expertise to make the impossible happen," said Joe Moore, master jeweler at Jewel-Craft.

Joe Moore joined Jewel-Craft in 1967 and works along side a team of 125 experienced technicians and craftsmen. Over 20% of the staff at Jewel-Craft has been with the company over twenty years and at least nine employees have been with the company over thirty years. Jewel-Craft employs a team of jewelry smiths, able to hand-fabricate, repair, reconstruct, and cast silver, gold, or platinum pieces; stone cutters, able to work with all shapes and sizes of colored stones or diamonds; pearl and bead stringers, able to restring both knotted or unknotted pearls and beads; laser technicians, using three modern welders; appraisers, certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and designers, using computer-aided software to custom design and/or manufacture jewelry.
