SNHU’s Sport Management program history dates back more than 25 years. Our Master’s in Sport Management program provides students with opportunities to make connections with collegiate and professional sports management executives. The SNHU Master’s in Sport Management program is one of only two such accredited programs in New England.
The Athletic Administration Certificate provides a strong foundation on which to break into or grow a student’s career in athletic administration. Through internships, students will be able to apply what they learn in a real-world work environment of their choosing. These will not only give students demonstrated experience that they can put on their resumes; it will also allow students to better understand how topics that they explore in the classroom take place in the real world.
The International Sport Management Certificate program is designed to give students the training they will need to break into this competitive, fulfilling industry by blending experiential learning opportunities with a strong foundation in business administration. Students can choose from a diverse list of course offerings including: Management of Sport Organizations
Sport Marketing and Media, Sport and Society and Internationalization of Sport Business.
SNHU’s Sport Management degree program has been part of our heritage for more than a quarter of a century, and our students have access to a strong network of alumni working for sports organizations around the globe - from pro franchises to sports apparel giants to amateur athletic organizations. Also, because many of our professors are former industry executives with excellent industry contacts, invaluable internship opportunities are available that can allow students opportunities to gain the all-important hands-on experience companies are looking for in potential employees.
