Orange County Taxpayers Association Endorses Todd Spitzer for Orange County Supervisor

Orange County Supervisor candidate Todd Spitzer receives endorsement from OCTAXPac for his longstanding commitment and track record of protecting taxpayers and fiscal responsiblity.

I am proud to stand with the Orange County Taxpayers Association in defending taxpayers and businesses and in working to reform county government to eliminate waste and corruption.

Citing his long-standing "taxpayer-friendly leadership," the political arm of the Orange County Taxpayers Association has endorsed Todd Spitzer for Supervisor. Spitzer is the leading candidate to replace Supervisor Bill Campbell, who is finishing his final term on the Board and has also endorsed Spitzer.

In a letter from Board Member Curt Pringle and Board Secretary Reed Royalty, OCTAXPac stated they are endorsing Spitzer for his longstanding commitment and track record of protecting taxpayers and fiscal responsiblity.

Spitzer, who has championed open government, spending reform and taxpayer protection throughout his career, said "I am proud to stand with the Orange County Taxpayers Association in defending taxpayers and businesses and in working to reform county government to eliminate waste and corruption."

Todd Spitzer took office as a County Supervisor in 1997, three years after the County declared bankruptcy. As a strong fiscal conservative, Spitzer led the successful effort to restore the county’s fiscal reputation and standing by adhering to strict fiscally conservative principles.

Todd Spitzer has a lengthy record of public service, including serving as a police officer, Local School Board member, County Supervisor, Assemblyman and Assistant District Attorney in Orange County.

The third district currently includes Anaheim Hills, Brea, Cowan Heights, El Modena, Irvine, Lemon Heights, Olinda, Olive, Orange Hills, Orange Park Acres, Tustin, North Tustin, Villa Park, and Yorba Linda. Todd Spitzer is widely known and enjoys tremendous support throughout the district.
