Madison, WI (PRWEB) June 15, 2011

Parallel Kingdom, PerBlue's most popular game, now exceeds a half million players. Parallel Kingdom is a location-based smartphone app available for free in the Android Market and iTunes App Store.

To celebrate reaching the half million player mark, Parallel Kingdom is introducing limited edition flags (structures used to claim territory in the game). All new players that create accounts between June 15th and June 22nd will automatically receive 10 of the special flag decorations for free. All existing players will also receive these limited edition decorations by logging in between these dates.

Parallel Kingdom uses GPS to put players into the game at their real life location. The "parallel virtual world" is shown on top of a real world map. The virtual world is full of creatures, buildings, and resources. Players can interact with other players in real time, battle each other, claim territory, build buildings, and much more.

PerBlue’s CEO, Justin Beck said, “This is just the tip of the iceberg. Parallel Kingdom is easily the deepest MMORPG on any smartphone, and with only 5% of the Earth’s surface area claimed, there is a lot of room for growth.”
