The eco-friendly Riviera Maya resort Hacienda Tres Rios was awarded Best Green Initiative by Perspective Magazine during the Global Networking Expo (GNEX 2011). The convention brought together 121 delegates from 75 global companies in vacation ownership and fractional ownership businessmen to the Bahamas.
During the event, Sunset World Resorts and Vacation Experiences in the Riviera Maya earned one of the coveted awards for which 150 companies were nominated. The company was awarded for its contribution to protect the environment.
As part of the Global Networking Expo, the CEO of Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences, Orlando Arroyo was invited to speak and share his statistics and point of view on succeeding in the travel industry and looking for new business opportunities.
During his speech, Arroyo spoke of the group´s keys to success, one of those points being the unification of experts in service and hospitality capable of creating unforgettable vacation experiences in Cancun and the Riviera Maya for customers and members.
Annie Arroyo, Director of Brand and Communication for the group, was also a speaker at the conference. She explained her goal is to maintain consistency across the brands handled by Sunset World. The synergy is managed by the public relations department.
