Affiliated Insurance Companies FCIC, HCBI&GH, HIN, and USL&H Raise $2,500 to Benefit the Fisher House Foundation's Hero Miles Program

Combined with company matching, employees from affiliated companies First Chicago Insurance Company, Hallberg Commercial Business Insurance & Group Health, Hallberg Insurance Network and United Security Life and Health Insurance Company recently raised $2500 to benefit the Fisher House Foundation’s Hero Miles Program.

Embedded in the mission of each of the affiliated companies, is the belief that it is important to honor our corporate citizenship by financially supporting a worthy cause.

In honor of Memorial Day, the companies sponsored a Casual Week for a Cause, in which employees paid to dress casual in order to raise money for the Hero Miles Program.

The Casual Week for a Cause Program was developed as one vehicle to bring this goal to reality. With every cause the company supports, the company generously matches the employee contributions. The Hero Miles Program was selected as the Memorial Day cause since it directly supports military members and their families and illustrates what this important national holiday is about.”

Affiliated companies, First Chicago Insurance Company and United Security Life & Health Insurance Company have named the Fisher House Foundation as its charitable partner for 2011. Both companies have pledged to donate one dollar of every new business application written in 2011 to the Fisher House Foundation. Having the Casual Week for a Cause, benefits a program sponsored by the Fisher House Foundation further demonstrates the companies support.
