Washinngton, DC (PRWEB) June 14, 2011
Joseph Breen, Managing Member of the Breen Consulting Group, announced today a corporate program within the Breen organization that promotes volunteerism within their organization, to those charitable organizations seeking people to assist in day to day operations aimed at helping others.
Over the past 2 years, Mr. Breen, a U.S. Air Force veteran, has been providing free consulting services to selected disabled veterans who are not in the position to hire a company to assist them. Additionally, Mr. Breen has also been very active with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization, providing volunteer driving services to veterans needing a ride to and from VA hospitals.
"Volunteering time to help veterans is very rewarding. Not only derive satisfaction from helping a veteran in need, but volunteering as a driver provides a great opportunity to speak to and learn from veterans who have served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and those who have served recently in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our hope is that by promoting volunteerism within our organization, others will learn more about these opportunities to volunteer, and become active as well. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver for veterans, you can contact your local VA hospital and speak to the representative in volunteer services.
The Breen Consulting Group specializes in providing consulting and contract services to companies seeking to attain and manage federal government contracts.
