Police Officers have been using social networking sites more and more to aid in investigations. Now, Police Officers have their own social networking site where they can network with each other and share information amongst themselves.

Thin Blue Link was designed by a New Jersey Police Officer. The website is exclusive only to current and retired sworn Law Enforcement Officers and every member must be verified prior to gaining access to the site. Members are able to make their own profile, post pictures and videos, write blogs, create groups, message other members across the country, and share information such as news articles and more.

A post by Thin Blue Link on their facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/policeonly, states, "Being a Law Enforcement Officer is like being in the worlds largest fraternity. Thin Blue Link is a place where Police Officers can network with each other and share past experiences that could one day save one of our fellow Officers lives."

If you are a current or retired sworn Law Enforcement Officer, you can join Thin Blue Link for free by visiting http://www.thinbluelink.com and filling out the short membership form. You can also find more information on their facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/policeonly.
