Appalachian Trail Adventures(ATA) is excited to announce they opened for the season May 27th, this marks their fifth year anniversary. ATA is a unique active vacation destination and hiking spa for hikers of all abilities, offering daily guided kayaking, caving and hiking adventures in the Green Mountains of Vermont along the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail.

Hikers stay at the Summit Lodge, which is known for its personalized service. Situated on eleven acres, the lodge offers all the cozy, traditional pleasures of a Vermont country inn, along with air-conditioned rooms and a spa for those guests who are looking for massage therapy.

ATA’s vacation’s consists of an air conditioned room with three daily spa meals; snacks; guided novice, intermediate or advanced hike, and kayaking, caving or an excursion. Their Hiking Vacation is ideal for those guests whose main concentration is hiking with kayaking and excursions to complement the day. The Hiking & Yoga Vacation title is designed for those guests seeking to unwind after hiking with a daily yoga class. While their Hiking Spa Vacation is ideal for those seeking to unwind after hiking with an hour long massage. The Hiking &Tennis Vacation is for those guests seeking to hone their racquet skills and have a hiking adventure. The Kayaking Vacation title is designed for those guests seeking a getaway with a full day of river kayaking adventure

"In collaboration with a local chef Jeremy Whittemore and ATA’s registered dietitian together have created a delicious spa menu title for those seeking healthier meals, with most items coming from local famers or ATA’s on property garden. ATA is able to accommodate special dietary restrictions and offer two serving sizes. These are a smaller portion and a hiker's portion so our guests can have customized meals. This enables ATA to cater to couples, athletes, weight loss vacationers, as well as to all those with no dietary restrictions who seek to eat healthily. "
