“I applaud our customers, who enthusiastically participated to benefit the library.” Jeffrey Marx, Del Taco franchisee and owner of the Boiling Springs location

The Boiling Springs Del Taco restaurant and its customers didn’t let the fact that the school year ended to stop thinking about reading. With dimes and dollars collected throughout the month of May, the restaurant and its diners gathered $729.40 to donate to the Friends of the Boiling Springs Public Library and their Summer Reading Program.

“We’re excited to be able to give back and help support healthy minds as well as healthy bodies,” said Jeffrey Marx, Del Taco franchisee and owner of the Boiling Springs location. “I applaud our customers, who enthusiastically participated to benefit the library.”

Del Taco donated 10 cents for every Crispy Chicken Taco purchased throughout the month of May. In addition, customers were given a special bookmark when they contributed a dollar to benefit the library, and the restaurant gathered new and gently used books as part of the donation drive.

The Boiling Springs Del Taco is located at 1800 Boiling Springs Rd. (directly off Interstate 85 at exit 75).
