If I can find peace after so many years of mistakes and poor choices, others can, too. Now, my goal is to help others embrace faith by revealing my story of recovery.

A new book is revealing one woman’s journey from faith to forgiveness after struggling for years with personal guilt while sitting in church pews every Sunday. From having an abortion to sexual promiscuity, drug and alcohol use, Linda Sennett admits she has made mistakes. Now, she seeks to inspire others looking for an absolution.
In The Restoration of a Woman’s Soul, Sennett candidly recounts her experiences with abortion, sexual abuse and blasphemy, all the while searching for acceptance through drugs, alcohol and other risky behavior. But her message now is that all can be forgiven through trust in God and a relationship with Christ.
“If I can find peace after so many years of mistakes and poor choices, others can, too,” says Sennett. “Now, my goal is to help others embrace faith by revealing my story of recovery.”
Touching on her struggles with self-esteem, molestation and her eternal destiny, Sennett delves into her years of battling depression as she raised her young daughter alone. In addition to providing tips on how to begin building a relationship with God, her book includes an applicable framework for readers’ personal reflection and self-analysis, encouraging them to address their own doubts and fears.
“No matter what you’ve done, God still loves you,” says Sennett. “My life’s turnaround is a testament to that fact.”
