“…we’re providing a more cost-effective choice without sacrificing the flexibility and integration options of the Provider 680® system.”
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) June 16, 2011
Jeron Electronic Systems announced today that it is introducing eight new tone-visual components that will expand the utility of its popular Provider 680® nurse call system. The new components will allow facilities to match audio/visual (intercom) and tone/visual stations to their specific needs.
According to Jeron Director of Marketing, Myles Cochran, “Our customers really embrace the full functionality of the Provider 680, but many needed a more cost effective solution for the areas where intercom simply isn’t used. By adding the tone-visual stations to Provider 680, we’re providing a more cost-effective choice without sacrificing the flexibility and integration options of the Provider 680 system.”
The tone-visual options on the system include:
- Single and Dual Callcord Patient Stations
- Tone-Visual Main Control Unit
- Touchscreen Nurse Console
- Annunciator Panel
The new tone-visual options bring the Provider 680 platform into areas not traditionally served by intercom audio, such as the ED or clinics, and includes the benefits of facility-wide code blue annunciation, pocket paging and call activity archiving and reporting. With stations and consoles designed for simplified installation and support, using standardized Category cabling and plug-and-play RJ connectors; the addition of these new components provides a cost-effective and scalable platform for a facility-wide networked nurse call solution.
As both a tone-visual and audio-visual nurse call platform, the Jeron Provider 680 Nurse Call System addresses facility-wide staff and patient communication needs for today and well into the future. It incorporates advanced technology that streamlines notification and communication to improve patient care and staff satisfaction while minimizing installation and maintenance costs. Patient-to-staff and staff-to-staff alerting and communication is maximized through integration with wireless phones, pocket pagers, and Real Time Locating.
The new tone-visual stations for Provider 680 will be available for general release in the summer of 2011.
