Emmy award-winning filmmaker Gayle Kirschenbaum has launched a Kickstarter campaign, an online platform to raise finishing funds for her new film that promises to help many. Kirschenbaum opens up her life in MY NOSE: THE BIGGER VERSION, which follows the transformation of her relationship with her critical and abusive mother from hatred to love.

Kickstarter is based on crowd funding; it’s all about numbers, the more people who know about the project and get behind it, the better chance to reach a set fundraising goal. Kickstarter also serves to build a community and audience for this project.

After release of the trailer, several broadcasters and distributors have expressed interest, however, all are waiting to see the finished film.

MY NOSE: THE BIGGER VERSION will serve to help many people -- people who are suffering from growing up with a critical and abusive parent, people who have been struggling with low self-esteem and body image their whole lives, people who for years have been carrying anger and resentment towards the people who have caused them harm.

In Gayle’s recent award winning comedic short film, MY NOSE about her mother’s quest to get her to have nose job, she introduced the audience to her critical mother. The film succeeded beyond expectations with many people relating to it. In an effort to help others suffering, Kirschenbaum developed “The Seven Healing Tools” and became a motivational speaker. Due to the audience hunger for more she decided to go deeper by opening up her life for a more complex film, MY NOSE: THE BIGGER VERSION.

The quicker the project is financed, the faster this important and unique film will get out to the world. Please check out the project and see all the rewards you can get in return for donating. Rewards range from movie posters to private screenings to your name in the credits of the film!
