Urban Design Group is proud to announce the addition of Yelena Ptashinskaya to the firm. Ptashinskaya brings 11 years of national and international design experience to the team and has a diverse portfolio of design projects.
Ptashinskaya previously worked with Urban Design Group from 2005-2010, and she rejoins the team as a Project Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (an NCARB Compliant program) from Belarus National Technical University in Minsk, Belarus. She is involved in the Intern Development Program (IDP) and recently participated in the Forward Dallas workshop series as part of the City of Dallas new Master Plan process.
Early in her career, Ptashinskaya had many years of international experience in the transportation, commercial and residential markets. Her work with UDG includes higher education, hotel and resort projects. Her project involvement encompasses the entire value-chain, from project administration to management of construction documents.
Known for her excellent design and graphic skills, Ptashinskaya is a key player in generating new ideas for clients. She consistently strives to find the best way to combine both client and firm ideas to form a workable and rewarding final product. Ptashinskaya's overall goal for her work is to create environments that affect communities in a positive way, improving function, aesthetics and everyday life.
