Actress Jen LaForte’s quirky, funny, girl next door personality, landed her a supporting role, on Logo’s TV Movie, Jamie and Jessie Are Not Together.

World premiere July 18th 2011 in San Francisco at Castro Theater, and, at Outfest, the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival on July 8th. Jen plays Jamie’s sister, Monica, who is an independent though married woman, living in the suburbs, who is always by her sister’s side.

Known for her comedic timing and physical comedy, Jen has been a part of many improv and theater productions. For the past two months, she has been involved in an all -female improv group, The Real Housewives of Chicago. The show is completely live, with no preparation which results in an entirely new show every night.

Jen’s big break was appearing on "Dharma and Greg", which lead her to receive her SAG card. Her past credits include Mourning After Mirabelle, The Great Wall of Calcutta, National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze and TBS’s sitcom, "My Boys".
