The Cloud changes everything that we do. This includes how we acquire, manage and use IT, to our sources of critical technology and business services, through how we do business in any market. In an incredibly brief period of time, the Cloud has gone far beyond being a means of acquiring and using inexpensive IT, to enabling significant and disruptive changes and opportunities in IT and business.
The broad and deep market impact of these issues is at the core of new research by Saugatuck Technology which will be unveiled by Saugatuck’s SVP and Head of Research, Bruce Guptill, and founder and CEO Bill McNee, at two upcoming Cloud Control conferences. The first will be held on July 19-21, 2011 at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport (Boston, MA), whereas the second will be held on October 25-27, 2011, at the Hilton London Tower Bridge (London, UK). Both of these conferences are being hosted by the Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI), an international organizer of conferences, exhibitions, and leadership trainings for the world's leading business decision-makers. Co-located with the Cloud Control conferences are the sixth and seventh installments of GSMIs successful Green Data Center conference series (GDCON).
Saugatuck’s Guptill and McNee will serve as the event chairs, which will include delivering the opening address at each venue. In the featured conference kickoff, entitled “Cloud IT and Cloud Business: Going Mainstream,” Guptill and McNee will highlight key trends driving the adoption of cloud business strategies, including sharing some of Saugatuck’s latest research and market models to help frame the key issues that will be presented throughout the event. The presentations will also spotlight the key drivers behind emerging Cloud IT and Cloud Business investments, as well as identify best practice insights from a variety of IT and business leaders concerning how best to profit from new Cloud investments – while avoiding the pitfalls.
“Saugatuck is delighted to join forces with GSMI to help inaugurate its Cloud Control conference series,” shared McNee. “The Cloud, in all of its forms is going mainstream, and is beginning to significantly reshape enterprise IT,” added Guptill
