Author Luis Aira Reads From His Inspirational Books "The Dreamer" and "Somewhere" at the BohdiFest 2011 in Malibu, California, on June 19th

Acclaimed film director and author Luis Aira is invited to the BohdiFest 2011 to do his first public reading of his inspirational books "The Dreamer" and "Somewhere".

Film director, author, and a visual artist Luis Aira will be doing the first public reading of both his books “The Dreamer” and “Somewhere” at the BohdiFest 2011 in Malibu, California, on June 19th.

"The Dreamer", is a spiritual fable about a man who is on a quest to find the one who dreamed him. "The story inspires the reader not only to turn dreams into reality, but also to discover that many our realities now, were once our dreams," says Aira.

His first book, “Somewhere,” illustrated by "Day without a Mexican" director, Sergio Arau, is an autobiographical children’s tale about a child who becomes a writer and travels to a fantasy world to find answers after the sudden death of his father. The story, winner of “Best fantasy” category at the “2006 Los Angeles International Family Film Screenplay Competition” is currently a movie in development.

Both books are highly inspirational and are available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and Lulu.com.

Born in Cuba, and raised in Venezuela, Aira is critically acclaimed for his cutting edge style and creative media strategies targeting cross-cultural markets. He is honored with numerous awards, including the prestigious Clio. He applied his directorial talents to clients such as Coca Cola, Sprite, AT&T, J.C. Penney, Carl’s Jr. , Wells Fargo, Converse, Sears, Ikea, Honda, The John Kerry Campaign for President, Gore/Lieberman Campaign for President and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
