Raytown, MO (PRWEB) June 16, 2011
To honor H&H Color Lab for its unwavering dedication to green initiatives, Laird Plastics, the largest independent plastics distributor in North America, and one of H&H’s vendors, presented H&H Color Lab with its 2010 Environmental Excellence Award for Outstanding Environmental Practices.
Bill Boda, Warehouse Manager for H&H Color Lab, received a plaque from Laird Plastics in April to commemorate the tribute.
“Only a right thing, done in a right way, is right.”
That’s one of the core values of H&H Color Lab, which has been partnering with professional photographers and setting the standard in color, quality and customer service for 40 years. H&H Color Lab’s passion for excellence goes beyond offering unparalleled professional photo processing, products and education; it extends to doing the right thing, in the right way, when it comes to environmental responsibility.
H&H is dedicated to recycling, conservation, and eco-friendly disposal of photo printing materials. In 2010 alone, H&H Color Lab recycled 26 tons of corrugated cardboard, saving 234 cubic yards of landfill space, 28.6 barrels of oil, and 171.6 million BTUs of energy. In addition, H&H recycles the aluminum used for metal prints and the acrylic used for statuettes and photo ornaments, as well as cardboard paper roll cores and digital press paper scraps.
