Entreave, a unique matchmaking platform which matches jobs to US-based talent, now combines online referral recruiting with social media in an innovative Rewards program. Registered users will have the opportunity to generate income through their social connections by referring friends for job openings listed on Entreave. They could earn significant dollars as an award when their referral gets placed successfully. This feature will give users the option to either share on social networks or send private messages to friends. Entreave will soon be launching the sharing and referring feature for mobile devices as well.

"Entreave's primary goal with the Rewards Program is to facilitate the wide distribution of jobs through social networks and mobile devices. We believe this is an essential component for the right candidate to connect with the right job, as this helps cast a net over a wider distribution of individuals across many social and personal networks” says Vamsi Mohun, CEO & Founder, Entreave.

This form of social media-led referral recruiting brings in huge benefits to both employers and job seekers. In 2010, 27.5% of all hires happened through referrals, according to the HR community site ERE.net. For professionals, the numbers are much higher and the impact of referrals goes up with increasing salaries. Many companies still use a manual referral system, which is inefficient, has less impact, and is hard to track. Entreave’s Rewards program simplifies referral recruiting by streamlining sharing on social networks with a transparent and fully trackable referral engine.

The Rewards Program will also enable companies to connect with passive candidates. According to Manpower, a staggering 84% of all employees are planning to change jobs in 2011. John Gardner, VP Engineering & Co-founder at Entreave, elaborates: "We think the significant financial incentive will make professionals think harder about referring friends that are not too happy with their current jobs."

In addition to the rewards program, Entreave is also pleased to announce that it is in the process of registering Pay Per Recruit as a trademark with the USPTO. This reflects Entreave’s baseline business model: employers and recruiters post jobs on Entreave at no cost and pay only after they have made a successful hire. Within the next few weeks, Entreave will also exit the beta phase and launch its brand new user-friendly website that is based on Web 2.0 technologies.
