Yobonja's game is a true cross-platform success story, having reached top spots in both Apple's App Store and the Android Market

Ansca Mobile is proud to announce that Yobonja’s Blast Monkeys has reached the #4 spot for free games in the Android Market and #2 spot in the Arcade & Action category, just behind Angry Birds and ahead of Angry Birds Rio. This follows Blast Monkeys’ success in Apple’s App Store and shows the game-making expertise of Yobonja and the cross-platform development power of Corona SDK, the mobile framework used to develop Blast Monkeys.

“We are excited to see Yobonja’s success on both the Android and iOS platforms”, said Carlos Icaza, co-founder of Ansca Mobile. “We have worked hard to make Corona SDK the absolute best framework in which to develop rich, cross-platform mobile apps and it is gratifying to see our community grow and succeed.”

Blast Monkeys is no stranger to success, having crossed one million downloads in the Apple App Store earlier this year. In addition, it has hit the #1 spot in the Kids and Puzzle categories in six countries and the top 5 overall downloads in two countries after being named App of the Week and App of the Month in Ansca’s Showcase in February.

We wholeheartedly congratulate Yobonja and we are eagerly looking forward to their future creations.
