Beaverton, OR (PRWEB) June 17, 2011
Cinetopia will feature four unique types of theater venues:
1) Slated to accommodate major blockbuster releases, two Grand XL Auditoriums that boast the largest screens in the Portland metro area measuring 61’ and 70’. All Grand XL rows have up to a foot of extra leg room, with the steepest stadium seating in the Portland area (24 inch risers in every row). The Grand XLs will also have the first Christie 4k projection systems in the nation, with resolution 4x that of standard “Blue Ray” HD. The sound will also be one of a kind with the introduction of the new Meyer EXP sound system. Elaborating on his decision to upgrade the Grand XL to the EXP standard, Coltman adds, “Meyer Sound offers dramatically more power than the competition because each speaker has its own built-in amplifier. Meyer EXP also offers greater clarity with more sonic realism, sub-bass that is deeper and richer than other speakers. Patrons will notice the difference immediately.”
2) Three Movie Parlors, Cinetopia’s newest and revolutionary theater venue. These auditoriums offer additional suite level amenities in an immersive audio-visual environment that utilizes a 30 foot movie screen and up to 20 additional HD flat screen panels to create unique movie themed environments.
3) Four Expanded Living Room Theaters which feature “skybox” seating with even wider 26 inch ultra leather VIP seats with footrests, Digital Super HD projection, large screens including a giant 55 foot screen, in theater restaurant food, beer and wine service, and live pre show entertainment; and
4) Grand Auditoriums with Digital Super HD projection, state of the art Klipsch audio, advanced stadium design, extra wide 24 inch wide ultra leather reclining seats, and extra wide rows.
Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14 will also feature a full service restaurant and wine bar with live music. The restaurant will highlight local, organic and regional ingredients with a “market to table” focus. Executive Chef Aaron Jones describes his menu as “modern interpretations of classic comfort foods which feature rotating seasonal selections from Oregon’s farm and wine country.” Furthering its commitment to be on the cutting edge of entertainment technologies, the restaurant will feature unique interactive iPad dinner menus which allow customers to view pictures of menu items, surf thru information on local food purveyors, view movie trailers, and learn about Vinotopia’s award winning wine list.
Similar to the existing Cinetopia in Vancouver, Washington, Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14 will feature an art gallery and many other new and unique entertainment venues. Ticket prices will be on par or lower than other first run movie theaters in the area with matinee prices running as low as $8.00 and Grand Auditorium adult admissions at $10.00. Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14 will also be the first theater in the Portland metropolitan area to offer advanced reserved seating, allowing moviegoers the option of purchasing and picking their seats from an online seating chart. Coltman further states: “With locations now on the west side in Beaverton, Oregon, and the north side Vancouver, Washington, Cinetopia will offer movie goers throughout the Portland Metropolitan area the option to experience the finest theatrical exhibition venues in the nation.”
