The Law Offices of P. B. Tufariello, P.C. announced today that intellectual property attorney Betty Tufariello will speak at the June 21, 2011 meeting of the Suffolk County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. at the H. Lee Dennison Building, 100 Veteran’s Highway, Hauppauge, NY 11788. There is no charge to attend the meeting.
Tufariello’s presentation will focus on adopting the right intellectual property protection strategy for your business. The meeting’s interactive program will provide an opportunity for inventors to ask Ms. Tufariello questions.
Betty Tufariello stressed, “No matter what your invention or new business concept, the first objective is a solid business plan.” She added, “Often inventors and entrepreneurs are so intent on moving forward with new ideas, they make the mistake of skipping the all-important basics.”
Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy kicked off the Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club in August 2007. Monthly meetings feature a speaker with time for entrepreneurs mix to with business people and those who are interesting in starting their own business. From tools, toys to baby food and electronics the club offers a place for inventors who have patents pending, others who have sold inventions and those who have ideas but don’t know where to start.
