Nemesis 2.0 improves protection and management capabilities of next generation anti-malware solution.

Defence Intelligence has launched an update to its flagship Nemesis compromise protection solution. Nemesis 2.0 is a cloud based SaaS security solution designed to combat the threat of viruses, trojans, botnets, and new zero day malicious software. Nemesis can protect devices regardless of operating system and requires no additional hardware or software.

“The protection Nemesis 2.0 provides is vastly more effective than traditional security measures,” said Keith Murphy, CEO of Defence Intelligence.

Combining network behaviour analysis tools, threat research and intelligence, as well as active human analysis, Nemesis 2.0 is a service that prevents and detects system compromise on the network. Some of the new features offered in Nemesis 2.0 include:

  • Improved identification and detection capabilities
  • Web based management console
  • Real time network summary details
  • PDF reporting capabilities
  • Ability to create custom blocking rules

“With the dramatic rise in high profile data breaches and compromises, organizations are looking for new ways to protect their networks,” Murphy stated. “With the effectiveness of traditional tools on the decline, an added layer of security has become necessary.”

“This is the product that we always wanted to give our clients,” said Matt Sully, COO. “Nemesis 1.0 was a revolutionary approach to malware protection, and Nemesis 2.0 performs better, looks better, and keeps our clients safer.”

Defence Intelligence has also launched a new website at and updated their branding to coincide with the launch of Nemesis 2.0. “We wanted our brand and our site to reflect all the progress that we’ve made as a company over the last few years,” said Sully. “We’re excited about our new look and the new product. We hope others will be too.”
