Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 18, 2011
On Sunday, June 19th, national production company Flash Mob America, who has produced flash mobs for the likes of “Modern Family,” “Rachael Ray,” American Red Cross and Heal the Bay, will partner with Los Angeles-based fund raising organization LA Fun-Raising for a charitable Father's Day event to raise funds for Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims.
This Sunday afternoon, a group of hundreds of flash mobbers will surprise unsuspecting Angelenos at an undisclosed location when they burst into choreographed dance, shock and delight onlookers, and then quickly disperse following the dance number.
Each flash mobber involved will make a charitable donation by purchasing a "Rise for Japan" t-shirt. 100% of the proceeds from the t-shirts will benefit Japan relief. Those not participating in the flash mob can help as well; anyone who wishes to contribute to the cause can purchase a “Rise for Japan” t-shirt.

About Flash Mob America
Conroe Brooks and Staci Lawrence founded Flash Mob America with the purpose of creating joy through surprise. In July 2009, Staci and Conroe produced the first American tribute to Michael Jackson by recreating Sweden’s “Beat It” flash mob, and again honored Jackson with a flash mob on what would have been his 51st birthday. Then Universal Music Group hired the team to produce a flash mob to surprise the late pop icon’s sister, Janet Jackson. The national attention spread like wild fire and Flash Mob America was born. Flash Mob America has since worked nonstop, teaming up with such billion-dollar brands as Oscar Mayer, to feed the hungry, and Charmin, to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. Now regarded as the industry’s flash-mob experts, Conroe and Staci have grown Flash Mob America into a full-service, national production company with a talented staff capable of handling all aspects of flash-mob production, including casting, choreography, music clearance and original composition, photography, filming, editing and extensive social networking.
